Building on the Success of Our Original. The DelVe milled aluminum square was a customer favorite. This new version retains those beloved features, now in a larger, robust square with a stainless steel blade, and introduces a few exciting additions. The Offset Base is Just the Start. Both squares are precisely drilled every eighth of an inch along the 90° edge. Insert a mechanical pencil's point into one of the holes and slide the DelVe square along your stock's edge. You'll create perfectly positioned scribe lines for your layout work. The Hypotenuse Edge Simplifies Angled Cuts. Calibrated in one-degree increments, it allows for swift and accurate layout of angled cuts. We've included extra lines at 22.5° and 67.5° for hassle-free octagonal construction. More Measuring, Less Marking. The 6" model's central cutouts provide precise 1/2", 3/4", and 1" references from the square edge and hypotenuse. On the 3-1/2" model, every cutout edge is a perfect half inch. We've also milled one end of the base to offer 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" setup block references for saw blade, drill press, and router bit depth of cut adjustments. There's even a hole for perfectly locating a self-centering drill bit at the center of a 3/4" edge. Two Sizes, One Tough Decision. The 3-1/2" DelVe Square fits easily into your shop apron pocket.
